Who are we?

We are a group of patients and supporters whose personal experiences of cancer bring us together so that we might help one another to cope with our journey through diagnosis and treatment.

We meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month at St Michael's Hotel, Falmouth, 7-8.30pm - see the map below.

We also meet more informally once a month in a more social context, perhaps for a coffee or a drink, in Falmouth or Penryn.

Dates and times for these meetings can be arranged according to the wishes of the members.

What are our aims?

To support and help one another at a time when we can feel most abandoned.

To raise awareness of the potential for self-help.

To share information for the health and well-being of those coping with the effects of cancer.

To act, at all times, with confidentialty, kindness and respect.

To welcome members of other cancer support groups to any of our meetings.

Possible future aims?

To offer occasional talks or demonstrations from people working in the field of cancer.

To compile a local resource list of complimentary therapits, good food outlets, books and literature.

To act as a forum for group discussions.
